Photos for a believable jawline
The skin under a beard has to be invented, so the more of your face shape the photo shows, the better. A front-facing photo with even light shows the cheeks, the corners of the mouth and the angle of the jaw. Side light and deep shadows hide those clues. If you have a clean-shaven photo from years ago, compare the result with it: it is the best check of whether the chin shape looks right.
Long and thick beards
Long beards hide the whole lower face and neck, so the result shows a plausible jaw and chin rather than your exact one. Short and trimmed beards follow the face closely, so the shape of the jaw is easier to read and the result is usually more faithful. If the chin comes out too small or too strong, write it: "a strong square jaw" or "a rounded chin".
Keeping the mustache
Keep mustache removes only the hair on the chin, jaw and cheeks, which is a good way to test a style before visiting a barber. For other styles, describe what stays in the instructions, such as "keep a goatee" or "keep short sideburns". Very small details such as a soul patch may be simplified, so check the area under the lip.
Skin and stubble
A fresh shave leaves a light shadow on darker or thicker beards, and the result adds that so the skin doesn't look airbrushed. If you want a smoother look, as after a wet shave, write "no stubble shadow". The skin color under a beard is often a little lighter than the rest of the face; the result matches it to the rest of your skin tone.
Age and expression
Without a beard many people look younger, and that is a real effect, not an age edit. Your expression and the lines around your eyes are kept. A big laugh moves the cheeks and chin, so a calm, slight smile gives the cleanest jawline. Glasses, hats and headphones are kept; take off anything that covers the jaw before the photo.

It shows a believable jaw for your face. Under a long, thick beard the shape has to be guessed, so it may differ from your real chin.
Can I keep a goatee?
Often. Pick Keep mustache and write "keep the goatee"; results vary, because chin hair is removed by default.
Does it remove stubble?
