Pokemon Trainer Generator: best photos and fixes.
Selfies that keep your look
A clear selfie facing the camera, with your hair and any glasses visible, gives a trainer that reads as you. Hairstyle and hair color are the strongest clues in anime style, so caps that hide the hair make it less recognizable; the trainer gets a cap anyway. Avoid heavy filters and very dark photos. You can also skip the photo and describe a trainer from scratch.
Describing the trainer
A type specialty is the simplest starting point: "an ice-type specialist" sets colors, outfit and partner at once. Add an outfit detail and a personality: "a cheerful bug-type collector with a net and a bucket hat". Roles like gym leader, champion, ranger or professor change the outfit and pose. Keep it to two or three ideas so the design stays clean.
Choosing the setting
On a route gives tall grass, trees and a path, like the start of a journey. City puts the trainer on a bright anime street with a stadium in the distance. Plain gives clean character-sheet art and is the best choice for avatars, stickers and cutouts. Custom lets you describe your own, such as "a snowy mountain pass" or "inside a gym arena".
Your partner creature
Name your favorite Pokémon as the partner, such as "Eevee on my shoulder", or describe a new one: "a small electric squirrel". To use your own pet as inspiration, upload the pet photo in the Pokémon generator first and describe that creature here. The partner is kept small so the trainer stays the main subject.
Groups and teams
One person per run gives the best likeness. For a team, run each friend separately with the same setting and similar descriptions, such as "part of a red-themed team", so the pictures match as a set. Group selfies make each face small and the trainers look less like their people.
Related tools
For the creature itself, use the Pokémon generator. To make a non-Pokémon anime version of yourself, the photo to anime filter keeps your real scene. The avatar generator makes profile pictures in many styles, and the chibi generator turns your trainer into a tiny big-headed version: download the result here and upload it there.
Pokemon Trainer Generator FAQ.
Is this an official Pokémon tool?
No. It is an independent fan-art tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokémon Company. It draws in the style of the original, including existing characters when you name them.
Can I sell the results?
Keep fan art for personal use, such as avatars, posts and character sheets. The style and the franchise belong to their owners, so don't use results on merchandise or in anything you sell.
Do I have to upload a photo?
No. Describe a trainer and one is designed from scratch; with a selfie it is based on you.
Is the Pokemon trainer generator free?
Yes, you can try it free. New accounts get 15 free credits, and one generation here uses 13 credits. You sign in with your email; no card needed. Results have no watermark. After that, plans add credits every month and credit packs never expire.
